Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of thalfenisite from the type and only locality!!! This specimen consists of a 4.6mm polished sample in an analytical mount!!! This specimen also includes a labelled SEM micrograph as well!!! On the reverse of the micrograph is a schematic that illustrates where on the specimen the photo was taken and where the thalfenisite is!!! This specimen also retains an old label from Forrest Cureton as well!!! This was one of only two such specimens I have ever come across!!! Rare material!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope on can see that the area of thalfenisite is emphasized and clearly discerned!!! This specimen retains an old label from Forrest Cureton as well!!!
