A rare, old time example of thomsonite from New York City!!! This specimen hosts an intergrown radiating spray of whitish thomsonite crystals in
association with some unidentified species!!! The unidentified species consist of amorphous but gemmy amber-orange colored masses, green colored masses that
range in clarity from opaque to gemmy and are mostly amorphous but there are some small areas that have vaguely crystalline features, and there are some small, tan colored
blocky crystals!!! While the label only lists the thomsonite, the associated species are quite fascinating as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen
retains its original Wintringham collection label!!!
