Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible example of this rare species from the type locality!!! This specimen consists of a near solid mass of thoreaulite!!! Thoreaulite is a rare tin tantalate and is usually only seen in tiny fragments!!! This specimen boasts a broad face that shows a highly lustrous surface with a slight yellow-green transparence that is somewhat fiery in person (in much the same way Mn-tantalite flashes red)!!!
