Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific, old time example of thorianite from the type locality in Sri Lanka!!! This specimen consists of a sharp cubic crystal that exhibits some complex, stepped modifications on one corner!!! The specimen is complete and quite handsome in person!!! This specimen came out of an old German collection!!! These old Sri Lankan thorianite crystals are quite difficult to come by today!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
