Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic group of rare thorianite crystals from Madagascar!!! This is a group of 20+ alluvial crystals of thorianite!!! The crystals range in size up to 1.3cm!!! The crystals exhibit charateristic alluvial form, however a number of the crystals show good cubic form and are handsome specimens in and of themselves!!! The crystals are surprisingly heavy for their size!!! This group is from the University of Delaware MIneralogical Museum and retains a label that notes they were a gift from Herman Hillsenrod!!!
