Description/Interesting Notes:
An incredible example of this rare tellurate from this historic locale!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of
lively green tlapallite in association with significant masses of hessite!!! There are significant crusts and
small botryoids of bright green talapalite richly scattered throughout the matrix!!! There appear to be
two different hues of green tlapallite present (or possibly an additional species)!!! There are numerous significant
masses of grayish metallic hessite scattered about as well!!! The hessite is very rich for the locality - with some areas
being significant, solid masses of hessite (some areas that show minor wear reveal silver-gray metallic luster)!!! Upon
close inspection it appears that there are some complex cavities left by skeletal crystals that have since altered or
dissolved!!! This is a very significant specimen for the locality!!! Rare old time material!!!
