Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic matrix topaz specimen from Argentina!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, lustrous microcline crystal that hosts a group of complex topaz crystals!!! The topaz crystals are sharp, glassy, and gemmy!!! The largest topaz crystal measures 2.3cm and is doubly terminated!! The crystal also exhibits some highly complex etching on one side!!! The topaz crystals are in fantastic condition and this specimen displays quite handsomely indeed!!! The crystals are very lively and showy!!! This is a magnificent matrix topaz from this seldom referenced locality!!! This specimen retains its original Ellis Collection label with a picture of the specimen on its reverse!!!
