Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic, old time example of topaz from the Urals!!! This specimen is a doubly terminated crystal that has
brilliant, glassy luster, gemmy clarity, and faint blue color!!! The main termination is complete and complexly modified!! Although the crystal is not complete, a significant
portion of what appears to be damage in the pics, is actually complexly crystalline upon close inspection!!! There is a curious
crystalline inclusion present within the crystal - upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see a black, prismatic crystal and a
stringer of unidentified radiating crystals!!! Classic, old time material!!!
This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL
collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming
days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was originally from the collection of
Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
