Topaz pseudomorph after Orthoclase Schneckenstein cliff, Kielberg, Klingenthal, Vogtland, Saxony, Germany 3.03cm x 2.32cm x 1.9cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of topaz after orthoclase from Germany!!! This specimen consists of a complex group of intergrown orthoclase crystals that has been completely replaced by microcrystalline topaz!!! In person the crystals are more defined than they appear in the pics!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope one can see some minute crystals of topaz present as well!!!
