Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of rare, natural blue topaz from Colorado!!! This specimen consists of a stout, blocky crystal of blue topaz in association with a small amount of muscovite!!! The crystal has razor-sharp faces with bright, glassy luster!!! The crystal is in fantastic condition all around and displays magnificently in person!!! The crystal has a handsome light blue color that is much more significant than the pics show!!! Old material!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior to the Nikischer collection this specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late 1930's until the 1970's)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
