Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic old time example of andradite var. topazolite from Italy!!! This specimen consists of a complex calcite crystal matrix that hosts numerous crystals of yellow-green topazolite andradite!!! The topazolite crystals are sharp, lustrous, and range in clarity from translucent to gemmy!!! The matrix is actually a large single calcite crystal that exhibits a natural etching!!! This specimen retains an old label from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum collection with L. L. Hubbard Collection(1849-1933) notation!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
