Topaz pseudomorph after Orthoclase Schneckenstein cliff, Kielberg Mt., Klingenthal, Vogtland, Saxony, Germany 2.15cm x 1.4cm x 1.37cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of topaz after orthoclase from Germany!!! This specimen consists of a single crystal of orthoclase that has been completely replaced by topaz!!! The crystal still retains the characteristic form of the orthoclase crystal however, upon close inspection with a loupe one can find tiny, submillimeter crystal faces of topaz!!! Rare, old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
