Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of this colorful uranium bearing species from the Congo!!! This specimen hosts numerous deep emerald green crystals of torbernite on a massive malachite matrix!!! The torbernite crystals are present as juxtaposed, square-shaped blades that are particularly thick!!! The crystals have terrific, deep emerald green color with translucent to gemmy clarity!!! The crystals range in size to 1.35cm and are thick and substantial!!! There is a significant showing of crystals on both sides of the specimen!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
