Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of torbernite from North Carolina!!! This specimen consists of a quartz matrix that hosts a rich showing of thick, bright green "books" of torbernite crystals!!! This specimen is quite showy in person!!! This specimen retains an old label noting that it was collected in the 1950's!!! An outstanding example of torbernite for the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
