Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent example of tourmaline from Brazil!!! This specimen is LOADED with COLOR!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, single
crystal of tourmaline that exhibits multiple bands of color as well as a classic "watermelon" pattern!!! When looking at the bottom of the crystal, one
can see a rich pink core, followed by a zone of yellow, then green, then blue (upon careful inspection one can even see a fine, thin purple
rim as well)!!! When viewing the crystal from the bottom up, one can see that the bottom is pink, followed by green, then blue, then very pale blue, then a
thin termination of magenta!!! The crystal is complete all around with sharp, glassy faces and termination!!! The crystal has
gemmy clarity and has very rich and lively color in person!!! In person, this crystal literally looks like it has all the colors of the rainbow within it!!!
Rarely do you see so much color in a single tourmaline crystal (if you look at the very first picture, you literally can see the colors of the rainbow - in order!)!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
