Description/Interesting Notes: A unique, old time example of tourmaline from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a complete, doubly terminated crystal of tourmaline!!! The crystal has a rich pink termination followed by a zone of colorless "achroite" and then a curious zone that almost appears to host a complex pink tourmaline crystal phantom!!! The crystal also has a slightly chatoyant sheen within from certain angles as well!!! Both terminations are quite complex yet highly lustrous!!! The crystal is complete all around and is quite handsome in person!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
