Tourmaline Barra do Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil .9" x .5" x .4"

Description/Interesting Notes: A wonderfully curious and uniquely aesthetic tourmaline!!! This specimen starts out with a base of gemmy blue green tourmaline of a most appealing color!!! Above this blue green area the crystal transitions into an area of pinkish red cat's eye tourmaline!!! And then to top it all off, there is a sceptered termination of green tourmaline!!!! The edges of the termination show all manner of complex right-angle modifications that are just incredible in person!!! The parallel faces also show broad, squared modifications - simply an extraordinary example of this wondrous species!!!
