Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of tourmaline from Mogok!!! This specimen consists of a sharp single crystal of tourmaline that exhibits a unique and attractive pattern of colors!!! This crystal has sharp, glassy faces and gemmy clarity!!! This crystal shows numerous bands of alternating colors throughout its entire length!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that the colors are actually quite sharply defined and there are numerous more subtle bands as well!!! The termination is sharp and has characteristic modification!!! Simply a gorgeous and unique example of this esteemed gem species!!! These fine examples of gemmy, multicolor tourmaline from Mogok are quite scarce indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
