Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this sought after gem species from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a single, pristine GEM crystal of
tourmaline in association with a small amount of pink lepidolite!!! This crystal was acquired in a small
collection of gem tourmaline crystals from the Wintringham collection!!! I am told that Wintringham collected these crystals
along with Frank Perham!!! This crystal has the characteristic minty blue-green color
that make these classic beauties so distinctive, however a portion of the crystal also shows a faint pink core!!! Of all the tourmaline crystals in the lot - this one
was unique - having a flat termination instead of the acute terminations more commonly seen from this locale!!!
This crystal has bright glassy luster, gem clarity, and classic color!!! This specimen is complete and in magnificent
condition!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
