Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this sought after gem species from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a single, pristine GEM crystal of tourmaline!!! This crystal was acquired in a small collection of gem tourmaline crystals from the Wintringham collection!!! I am told that Wintringham collected these crystals along with Frank Perham!!! This crystal has the characteristic minty blue-green color that make these classic beauties so distinctive!!! The crystal also exhibits the acutely angled termination commonly seen in tourmaline crystals from this locality - however it is also doubly terminated!!! The crystal is a complete floater!!! This crystal has bright glassy luster, gem clarity, and classic color!!! This specimen is complete and in magnificent condition!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
