Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific old time example of tourmaline from this classic New England locale!!! This specimen consists of a sharp single crystal of multicolor tourmaline!!! The crystal has a gorgeous, deep blue green color that grades to green and ultimately a lively yellow-green color!!! The crystal has a complex, very slightly flaired habit that is echoed by the color zones within!!! The habit gives the crystal a natural, slight chatoyance as well which further amplifies the color in handsome fashion!!! The crystal is complete, gemmy, and glassy!!! Classic material!!!
