Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of rubellite tourmaline from Finland!!! This specimen consists of a complex crystal of rubellite in association with a small amount of massive quartz!!! The rubellite has lustrous faces, marked translucency, and deep, intense purplish red color!!! This is a very fine specimen for the locale and is quite striking in person!!! The color is really quite unique in person!!! This specimen retains its original Rybnicky Collection label!!! The pics hardly do this rare beauty justice!!!
