Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific example of tourmaline from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a single tourmaline crystal in association with a small amount of lepidolite!!! The
tourmaline crystal has glassy luster, gemmy clarity, and classic Newry color!!! The color consists of two zones of minty, slightly bluish green that sandwich a zone
of pink in the middle!!! The lepidolite is present as a single, gemmy, light pink crystal perched in the termination!!! The termination is a somewhat
complex, incomplete "flat top", which is somewhat atypical for the locality!!! The color is much better than the pictures show!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS
