A fantastic old time example of rubellite tourmaline from this famous locality!!! This specimen consists of a single doubly terminated tourmaline crystal with a small amount
of cleavlandite in association!!! This specimen has rich pink color with what appears to be a greenish core at its center!!! The crystal is highly lustrous and has translucent
to gemmy clarity!!! One termination has a broad terminal face while the other consists of a number of parallel terminations!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition and displays
fantastically!!! This specimen retains old writing, catalogue numbering, and pricing (dating to at least the 1930's!) and has labels from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and
J.T. Reeder (b1857-1937) collections!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
