Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of tourmaline from this famed California locale!!! This specimen consists of a single, doubly terminated tourmaline crystal!!! The crystal exhibits characteristic coloration - a handsome bubble-gum pink with green terminations!!! The crystal has glassy luster and gemmy clarity!!! The main termination is largely flat with some complex features and striations!!! The opposing termination consists of a highly complex network of irregular faces!!! The main termination shows a band of lively green color whereas the opposing termination shows a zone of somewhat darker green!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
