Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this sought after gem species from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a single, pristine, gem crystal of tourmaline!!! This crystal was acquired in a small collection of gem tourmaline crystals from the Wintringham collection!!! I am told that Wintringham collected these crystals along with Frank Perham!!! This crystal has the characteristic minty blue-green color that make these classic beauties so distinctive!!! The crystal also exhibits the acutely angled termination commonly seen in tourmaline crystals from this locality!!! This crystal has bright glassy luster, gem clarity, and classic color!!!
