Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic example of tourmaline from this famous New England locale!!! This specimen consists of a bicolor tourmaline crystal section that hosts a
sharp, gemmy tourmaline crystal in parallel association!!! The tourmaline exhibits the characteristic minty blue-green color, along with a lively pink, that has
made these specimens so famous and highly desireable!!! The smaller crystal has a sharp, lustrous termination and gemmy clarity!!! This specimen
is quite handsome in person!!! This specimen also retains an old label from Perham's Maine Mineral Store that notes that it was
from the "Big Pocket Area Tourmaline Find, 1972-73"!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY NOVEMBER 18th!!!
