Tourmaline Pala, Pala District, San Diego Co., California 2.3cm x 1.53cm x 1cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of tourmaline from this classic California locality!!! This specimen consists of a pair of conjoined tourmaline crystals - one of which is pinkish in color and the other is green!!! The specimen is doubly terminated with the terminations having thin, irregular, dark blue caps!!! There are also a number of tiny features on the prism faces that show similar accents of blue as well!!! The crystals have glassy luster and gemmy clarity!!! The specimen is complete and displays fantastically!!! The color combo is quite festive and seems to be in concert with the holiday season!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
