Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of this unusual form of emerald from Colombia!!! This specimen consists of a single complex emerald crystal that exhibits the rare and curious "trapiche" habit!!! Trapiche emeralds exist in two types, and this specimen is the much rarer "B" type - having radiating emerald spokes as opposed to having radiating black lines in a solid emerald ("A" type)!!! This specimen has all six "spokes" with rich emerald green color and gemmy clarity!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
