Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of this unusual form of emerald from Colombia!!! This specimen consists of a single complex emerald crystal that exhibits the rare and curious "trapiche" habit!!! Trapiche emeralds exist in two types, and this specimen is the much rarer "B" type - having radiating emerald spokes as opposed to having radiating black lines in a solid emerald ("A" type)!!! This specimen has all six "spokes" with rich emerald green color and gemmy clarity!!! Simply a fantastic example of this very rare emerald habit!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
