Description/Interesting Notes: A VERY RARE example of tsumgallite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a very rich portion of gallite and germanite ore that hosts eye-visible areas of tsumgallite!!! The specimen has been expertly polished to a mirror-finish on both sides!!! This thick, hefty specimen has dramatic purplish-red metallic color that reveal its rich content of gallite and germanite!!! While there are microscopic grains and veinlets scattered throughout the specimen, there is a substantial eye visible vein present on one of the polished faces and - a small portion of crystalline material on the side of the specimen!!! This specimen retains a label from Bill Pinch with Innes Collection notation!!! This specimen was been confirmed and retains its analysis as well!!! This is a VERY valuable specimen - examples of tsumgallite are extraordinarily rare and highly sought after!!! This rich, hefty specimen is thick and substantial!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
