Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely magnificent example of this rare pseudomorph from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a large apatite crystal that has been
completely replaced by richly colored, gem quality turquoise!!! The great majority of these specimens are small and very crudely formed - this specimen
is a superb example both in terms of size and quality!!! This large specimen has sharply defined
faces all around and a complete termination!!! The crystal is very solid and dense with deep, choice
color that is much better than the pictures show!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that the darkly colored areas are actually tiny crystals of an unidentified
species - there are also a few books of mica partially included and a lone molybdenite crystal in association as well!!! All around this is
an extraordinary example of this rare pseudomorph!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
