Turquoise pseudomorph after Beryl

Apache Canyon Mines, Turquoise Mountain, San Bernardino Co., California

1.32cm x .95cm x .92cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A rare example of turquoise after beryl from California!!! This specimen consists sharp single crystal of beryl that has been completely replaced by turquiose!!! This unique deposit has been written about extensively and is the only such location where such pseudomorphs are known to occur!!! This specimen has sharp faces and rich blue color!!! Upon close inspection, one can even see some tiny areas of surprising luster on some faces!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! **We have just returned from the annual Gem & Mineral Show in Tucson, Arizona!!!
