A very rare turquoise pseudomorph after fossilized bone from Nevada!!! This specimen consists of a sharply defined, pleistocene-era
mammal bone that has been completely replaced by turquoise!!! The turquoise has aesthetic blue green color that stands in sharp
contrast to the darkly colored matrix!!! The bone exhibits extraordinary detail, allowing one to see the fine network of delicate,
spongiform tissues inside the bone itself!!! Curiously, under magnification, I could see some tiny colorless crystals perched on these fine structures as well!!!
These pseudomorphs are very scarce and seldom seen on the market!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Simply incredible in person!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
