Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of tyrolite from Utah!!! This specimen hosts a rich distribution of intensely colored tyrolite crystals in association with azurite!!! There are several dense clusters of almost pearlesent tyrolite crystals and individual crystals to over 3mm!!! Although they are difficult to appreciate in the pics, the azurite crystals are actually highly lustrous and intensely colorful tiny blades!!! This old time specimen is quite striking in person!!! This specimen retains old labels from the collection of mineralogist W.F. Hillebrand (and son of the famed botanist) and and the U.S. National Museum (Smithsonian Institute)!!!
