Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of this highly sought after silver-bearing species from the type locality!!! Examples of uchucchacuaite are extremely rare, and a friend of ours recently made a very small find of this material (you can read about this material on our Tucson Show Blog)!!! This specimen hosts numerous dark veins of dark gray uchucchacuaite as well as scattered grains and a significant band of compact, microcrystalline material!!! Upon close inspection this material can be seen to be made up of submillimeter prismatic metallic crystals!!! There were just a handful of these specimens and they are already all dispersed!!!
