A very rare and rich example of this highly sought after silver-bearing species from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a significant
showing of silvery metallic uchucchacuaite in matrix!!! The uchucchacuaite is present as several large masses surrounded by pale pink
rhodochrosite and well as small grains scattered throughout the entire specimen!!! This is a rich and significant example of
uchucchacuaite!!! In addition to the masses
of uchucchacuaite, there appear to be some scattered submillimeter prismatic crystals embedded in the matrix!!! Confirmed
examples of uchucchacuaite are extremely rare - this specimen came from a single nodule that was discovered by a friend
of ours and this is the last remaining specimen we have!!! There may not be any more of this material around for decades - don't miss out on
this rich and valuable rarity!!!
