Description/Interesting Notes:
An outstanding example of this rare silver-bearing species from this historic Japanese locality!!! This specimen hosts an unusually rich showing of
grayish metallic uchucchacuaite in pink rhodochrosite!!! The uchucchacuaite is present in numerous areas throughout the specimen, including a significant 1.5cm+ mass!!!
Upon close inspection with a loupe or a scope one can find a few crystalline features scattered about the specimen as well!!! This is a killer example of this
very rare species!!! This historic locality, which is now closed, was once Japan's largest manganese deposit!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY AUGUST 25th!!!
