Description/Interesting Notes:
A rich, old time example of this rare copper selenide from the type locality!!! This specimen consists of a dense, solid
mass of dark purplish metallic umangite in association with bright blue chalcomenite as well as some calcite, matrix, and
unidentified species!!! The umangite comprises a significant portion of the specimen and is present as a dense mass of
dark purplish metallic material!!! The chalcomenite is present as bright blue material coating part of the umangite - upon
close examination one can see complex crystalline features throughout the chalcomenite!!!
Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see that there are possibly some other unidentified species present as some
small grains of darker colored material (this locality is loaded with other rare selenides)!!! Simply
a magnificent example of this very rare species!!! Old material!!!
