Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of uraninite from this seldom referenced Swedish locale!!! This specimen hosts a grouping of conjoined, cubic crystals of uraninite in an oligoclase matrix!!! The crystals appear to exhibit partial alteration into secondary uranium-bearing species and range in size up to 1.7cm!!! Upon close study one can see some stringers of an unidentified yellow mineral!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
