Uraninite with Calcite, Fluorite, & Apatite Cardiff Uranium Mine, near Bancroft, Hastings Co., Ontario, Canada 6.25cm x 4.36cm x 3.32cm Ex. Robert M. Eaton Collection (Rochester 1967)

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of uraninite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic combination of calcite, fluorite, and apatite that hosts a superb, 1cm, twinned cubic crystal of uraninite!!! The crystal is very well defined and prominently perched on the matrix!!! A very showy and attractive old time Cardiff classic!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
