Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of uraninite from Germany!!! This is a magnificent example of botryoidal uraninite from a somewhat seldom represented locality!!! This specimen is almost all solid uraninite with just a tiny bit of matrix providing some contrast on the display face!!! Unlike the specimens more commonly seen from the Czech Republic, this specimen seems to be much more bulbous in comparison, consisting of an almost solid "knob" of uraninite rather than a thin plate of smaller botryoids on matrix!!!
