Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of uraninite from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a sharp group of intergrown uraninite crystals!!! The crystals have a complexly modified cubo-octahedral habit with jet black color and sharp, lustrous faces!!! The reverse side of the specimen exhibits a curious flattened surface with visible striations and growth hillocks!!! The pics say it all!!! Simply a magnificent Topsham uraninite!!!
