Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of uraninite from Maine!!! This specimen consists of a sharp group of intergrown uraninite crystals!!! The crystals have a complexly modified cubo-octahedral habit with jet black color and sharp, lustrous faces!!! This is a very substantial Maine uraninite indeed, rarely are they seen of such size and quality!!! While the reverse is contacted it is of little concern, as this specimen displays magnificently from numerous angles!!! This was the best uraninite from Maine in the Schlicter collection!!!
