A fantastic, rare example of fluorite var. antozonite with uranophane from Wölsendorf!!! This specimen consists of several crystalline masses of
black fluorite intergrown with bright yellow to orange uranophane!!! This is the type locality for this rare fluorite varietal and this is a terrific
example!!! Antozonite is a rare variety of fluorite containing free fluorine ions that, when broken or scratched, reacts with the air to
create ozone and hydrogen fluoride - and the resulting odor which earned it the antiquated name of "stink-fluss" or "stinkspat"!!! This specimen
retains an antique Ward's label as well!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
