Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare example of uranophane with cuprosklodowskite from Canada!!! This specimen hosts two radiating sprays of bright yellow acicular
crystals of uranophane, one of which shows an exposed core of lively green cuprosklodowskite!!! Examples of cuprosklodowskite from this locality
are very rare indeed!!! Among specimens of cuprosklodowskite from the Congo, similar formations showing acicular crystals of cuprosklodowskite that
grade to uranophane are well known, but this is the first time I have ever seen this from Faraday!!! The matrix hosts
numerous micro crystals of uranophane and some minor malachite as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person
to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
