Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare and colorful garnet species from Finland!!! This specimen hosts several complex, intense chrome green uvarovite garnet crystals on a matrix of light green chrome diopside and quartz!!! The crystals have sharp, glassy faces and intense deep emerald green color!!! The crystals range in size up to .7cm!!! The crystals exhibit highly complex, modified habits!!! Although the crystals are not complete they still display quite handsomely as well!!! Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
