This specimen consists of a significant, complex crystal of intense emerald green uvarovite garnet prominently perched on a small amount of matrix comprised of lively green chromian diopside and a small amount of calcite and pyrite!!! The uvarovite garnet has glassy, striated faces and incredible, chrome green color!!! The color is much more dramatic and showy in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
