Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, rich example of uytenbogaardtite with native gold from Nevada!!! This specimen consists of a cut and polished slab that hosts
a very rich showing of silvery gray uytenbogaardtite in intimate association with numerous tiny masses of native gold!!! Significant areas of
uytenbogaardtite can be seen on all sides of this specimen and there is some greenish chrysocolla in association as well!!! In person, the
areas of native gold are relatively easy to discern from the uytenbogaardtite and they are quite numerous throughout the specimen!!! There
are also tiny areas of exposed native gold on the natural surface of the specimen (which shows an impressive amount of uytenbogaardtite as well)!!! This is a
killer example of this very rare silver-gold sulfide!!! This specimen is from the collection of Bill Pinch and retains his original label as well!!!
