Description/Interesting Notes:
A gorgeous example of vanadinite from Arizona!!! This specimen hosts large, lustrous, intensely colored vanadinite crystals
on a matrix of complex, translucent calcite crystals!!! The vanadinite crystals are both perched on top of the calcite crystals as well as
completely included within them!!! The vanadinite crystals have intense red color with lively orange highlights!!! The vanadinite crystals
have razor sharp faces, glassly luster and marked clarity as well!!! The calcite crystals are undamaged and are present as a network of highly complex intergrown
crystals!!! The calcite crystals have significant luster and clarity - allowing one to see the numerous vanadinite crystals included within them!!! This specimen
is in fantastic condition and displays magnificently all around!!! Absolutely gorgeous in person!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Frederick W. Engel collection
that is dated November 6th, 1956 and notes that it was acquired from H.A.F (Hugh A. Ford)!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
